Patrick Johnson for Region 7 NBA
Patrick Johnson began his postal career as a PTF letter carrier in Milwaukee, WI. in 2005 after serving 11 years in the United States Army. Immediately becoming a member of Pioneer Branch 2, Patrick was appointed as the Hampton station alternate shop steward a day after completing his probationary period in 2006 by then Branch 2 President Steve Ercerg.
In 2009, Patrick was appointed as Chief Steward at multiple stations throughout the city of Milwaukee representing hundreds of letter carriers. In 2011 Branch 2 President Steve Erceg recognized Patrick’s commitment to provide his fellow brothers and sisters with the best representation possible and appointed him to full-time Formal Step A representative for the Milwaukee installation where he handled thousands of grievances.
In 2014 Patrick graduated from the NALC Leadership Academy and in that same year became the lead CCA Academy facilitator for the Milwaukee installation. Patrick was appointed to Branch 2 Mutual Benefits Representative in 2015 followed by being elected to Branch 2 Vice-President in 2016.
Patrick served as an arbitration advocate and in 2019 was appointed to the position of Regional Administrative Assistant in Region 7 for the National Association of Letter Carriers by then NALC President Fredric V. Rolando which was the position he held until his election to the position of National Business Agent in 2022.

Patrick has dedicated his entire postal career to representing and training his fellow letter carriers. Patrick emphasized that his focus will be to continue to strengthen the region through effective training, strong representation, and transparent communication. “It is the responsibility of the regional office to provide training and support to the members of their regions. This can only be accomplished with quality training and effective communication to the members throughout the region”
Patrick has delivered on his commitment to strengthen the region as he understands that a educated, highly trained, well informed membership makes us stronger as a union.
