I have always believed that leaders should find, develop and train their replacements. Giving others opportunities to rise to their full potential for the NALC. It takes all of us working together to effect positive changes on the workroom floor, in collective bargaining and in contract enforcement. As NBA I have instituted training programs from Steward College, Negotiations, Route Adjustment Protection, Arbitration Advocates, local branch officer, steward and Formal A training all designed to educate tomorrows leaders today.  I will continue to make education the centerpiece of our efforts in Region 5 because knowledge is power.
